Eddie Frank and Dr. Laurance Doyle, are a formidable team. Frank, veteran African
guide,
and Doyle, renowned N.A.S.A and S.E.T.I. astronomer, have proven their eclipse
trips to be one-of-a-kind adventures into the celestial and terrestrial realms.
Their previous eclipses found them in a remote corner of Zambia in 2001, southern
Australia in 2002, Ghana in 2006 and Mongolia in 2008.
Since 1983, Frank and Doyle have been researching archaeo-astrononomy at NAMORATUNGA, an ancient rock circle
in Kenya, which they proved to be an ancient
Cushitic observatory. Stay tuned for the
further astronomical exploits of Frank and Doyle.
